这是一本记录夏日的秘密日记。“Summertime”收集了属于每个人独特味道的情绪并发酵成一个个小型宇宙，去享受极度炎热下的耳鸣，充斥着到达沸腾的能量，又终将伴着夏末那一抹绿意消逝无踪。整部影片在带着时间印记的胶片上进行直接动画，即兴的绘画痕迹通过放映和扫描被无限放大。

1968年，正值全世界范围内的学生和工人反抗现存体制的运动风起云涌之时，在日本的千叶县成田市，三里塚的农民们为了反抗无视农民权益的新东京国际机场的建设，也举起了造反的大旗。这部作品是小川摄制组“三里塚”系列的第一部（整个系列共有7部作品，耗时8年完成）。以这部作品为契机，小川绅介和他的摄制组逐步确立了其“定点观测”的摄影风格。在这部作品中，摄影机深入斗争内部，拍下了以青年行动队为中心，与防暴警察武装对抗的情景。小川这样讲述这部作品：“所有的镜头都是站在农民中间拍摄的，我们从农民的视角拍摄，即使是在拍警察时，我们也是从正面，从他们的对立面，拍下一切”。 　　在未获得当地农民同意的情况下，新东京国际机场公司在三里塚开始了新机场的建设。当公司在防暴警察的保护下开始进行土地测量的时候，当地农民以及支持他们的学生出现并进行对抗。工作人员以影片摄制组成员的身份参与到了这场斗争的最前沿，与农民和学生们一起抗争，捕捉到了许多赶来的防暴警察和机场公司人员的表情。本片真实地记录了这次斗争中很多场景的十分具体的行动以及由农民和学生所召开的策划会议，随着事件的一步步展开，对其进行了生动地描述。这是三里塚系列的第一部，其从根本上改变了七十年代日本纪录片拍摄的手法。

本片为中国传媒大学艺术学部动画与数字艺术学院13级学生毕业作品。

This experimental documentary uses the life stories of a Chinese woman artist to explore alternatives to dominant versions of history. Growing up in China during the Cultural Revolution, she first came to the U.S. to study, and then, after the government crackdown, to live. FLOW's narratives of the Cultural Revolution are constructed from her extremely personal and often satirical points of view. The fragments of her memory are used to undermine the master narrative of history. Yau Ching writes, "An exiled native speaks a language not fully comprehensible to her 'fellow-natives' any more. A part of her is not able to go back any more. Given its politically subversive content, the very fact that this tape can only be made here, when the native is not at home, highlights the limitations of 'home.' Her memory haunts her and blocks her from being assimilated by the dominant American society. Through his relationships and encounters and in diverse cinematic tools, we are introduced to the young man's life. An exploration of living in the exotic city of Tel Aviv is presented through a hero who is himself in the midst of exploring his own choice of an exotic place. A unique correlation is formed between the hero's misconception of Japan and ours of him. 　　The movie was constructed by both improvised and pre-scripted scenes, as required by the nature of each scene.
